Marin County, CA – On the evening of Monday, September 28, 2026, a single-vehicle collision resulted in a fatality at 690 Tomales Road, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 9:13 PM in rural Marin County.
Authorities said fire personnel and emergency medical services responded to the scene. Tomales Road was closed in the area of 690 Tomales Road with an unknown estimated time of reopening. A tow was requested for the vehicle, although it was arranged to remain at the scene overnight until it could be recovered the following morning.
