Oxnard, CA – In the early hours of Monday, September 28, 2026, a pedestrian collision resulted in a fatality at North Victoria Avenue and Gumtree Street, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 2:01 AM.
Authorities said a silver Jeep involved in the collision pulled to the center divide following the crash. The pedestrian was found on the right shoulder. Ventura County Fire Department and Oxnard Police Department responded to the scene.
