Visalia, CA – In the early hours of Monday, August 24, 2026, a two-vehicle collision resulted in a fatality on Road 80, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 1:00 AM on Road 80 south of Avenue 320.
Authorities said the collision involved a Chevrolet, which came to rest on the right shoulder. As a result of the crash, Tulare County Fire Department and emergency medical services responded, with units dispatched from the Dinuba and Goshen stations.
Southbound lane two of Road 80 was shut down during the response. A tow was requested for the vehicle. The incident was ultimately coded as a solo-vehicle fatality.
No additional details regarding the identity of the deceased had been released at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.
