Foresthill, CA – On the evening of Sunday, June 29, 2026, a single-vehicle collision connected to a missing person case resulted in a fatality, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 6:16 PM at 26600 Mosquito Ridge Road.
Authorities said the collision involved a silver 2015 Ford Fiesta, which had previously been reported in connection with a missing person case.
El Dorado County Sheriff’s deputies and fire department personnel responded to the scene. The vehicle was determined to be in a location that may not be recoverable by tow.
