Madera County, CA – On the evening of Tuesday, June 24, 2026, a multi-vehicle collision resulted in a fatality at Avenue 18 1/2 and Road 19, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 6:30 PM.
Authorities said two vehicles overturned and caught fire, coming to rest in an orchard. The westbound lane of Avenue 18 1/2 was blocked during the response.
