Sonoma County, CA – On the afternoon of Saturday, April 4, 2026, a single-vehicle motorcycle collision resulted in a fatality on State Route 1 near Timber Cove Road, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 2:34 PM on State Route 1 near Timber Cove Road.
Authorities said a motorcycle was involved in a collision, with the motorcycle blocking a lane of traffic following the crash. Fire department units responded and provided medical assistance at the scene. Northbound lanes were blocked during the response while investigators processed the area. Caltrans was notified and coordinated with authorities regarding the lane closure status.
