Sacramento, CA – In the early hours of Tuesday, March 10, 2026, a collision at Power Inn Road and Junipero Street resulted in at least one person losing their life, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 11:29 PM.
Emergency personnel, including fire department units and medical responders, arrived at the scene shortly after the initial report was logged. A bystander was in contact with dispatchers via landline as crews worked the incident.
Fire department units blocked both northbound and southbound lanes of Power Inn Road to allow emergency responders to work the scene safely. The Sacramento Fire Department confirmed its arrival on scene within minutes of the initial dispatch.
The Coroner’s Office was notified and requested to respond, and the Sacramento Police Department was also contacted as part of the multi-agency response to the incident.
