The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:24 AM near 13625 River Road.
CHP dispatch logs indicate that the vehicle ended up in a waterway along River Road, prompting emergency crews and county road personnel to respond for a one-way operation to safely remove the vehicle.
The coroner was notified and responded to the scene, confirming the fatality. Tow services from College Oak Towing were requested to recover the submerged vehicle after evidence documentation.

Single-Vehicle Collisions
In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility. California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that, even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages.
