South Cherry Ave, East American Ave Crash Kills 1 in Visalia

Visalia, CA – In the early hours of Sunday, December 14, 2025, a fatal collision occurred at the intersection of South Cherry Avenue and East American Avenue, resulting in one death, according to CHP Fatal.

The crash involved a red Nissan Sentra and another unidentified vehicle. Emergency personnel, including Cal Fire, responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported around 1:30 AM. First responders arrived to find the Nissan heavily damaged, and the driver had suffered fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tow services were called to remove the vehicles from the roadway, and traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted as authorities cleared the crash site. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision, including whether speed, mechanical failure, or other factors contributed to the crash.

No additional injuries were reported, and authorities are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact the CHP or Visalia Police Department to assist with the ongoing investigation.
