Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on CR-102 in Woodland, Yolo County

Woodland, CA – On the evening of Sunday, November 9, 2025, a two-vehicle collision resulted in at least one fatality on County Road 102, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the crash took place around 10:25 PM near the intersection of County Road 102 and an adjacent rural roadway in Yolo County.

Authorities said a red sedan and a gray sedan collided, leaving both vehicles heavily damaged and debris scattered across the roadway. One vehicle came to rest in a ditch along the northbound lane while the other stopped on the southbound shoulder. 

Emergency crews from Yolo Fire Department and multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene, confirming one person had died as a result of the crash.

Tow trucks were later called to remove both vehicles, which were held as evidence during the investigation. The coroner arrived shortly after midnight, and the roadway was fully reopened to traffic by approximately 2:30 AM. 

Officials have not released the identities of those involved, and the California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the fatal collision.
