Butte County, CA – On the morning of Saturday, October 11, 2025, a 2-year-old child lost their life after being struck by a vehicle in Thermalito, according to CHP Fatal.
The Butte County Sheriff’s Office reports that the fatal accident took place around 9:56 AM on 18th Street.
Emergency crews, including the fire department and the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the scene under Code 3, indicating the highest level of urgency. Despite receiving life-saving medical efforts, the child succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased following the collision.
