San Juan, CA – On the evening of Sunday, September 28, 2025, a vehicle collided with a motorcycle, killing the motorcyclist, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:41 PM near the intersection of San Juan Road and San Miguel Canyon.
Emergency personnel found the motorcyclist trapped under the vehicle and worked at the scene to free them. Despite life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist was confirmed dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
The roadway remained closed for several hours as crews cleared vehicles and conducted a thorough investigation. County roads and sheriff’s deputies assisted with traffic control while authorities documented the scene.
A tow yard later received the motorcycle and involved vehicles as part of the evidence collection. Officials reopened the roadway after all recovery and investigative work was complete.
