Ventura, CA – In the late hours of Thursday, September 25, 2025, a pedestrian lost their life after being struck by a vehicle in Ventura, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 11:21 PM on US 101 South near State Route 33 North.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene, providing aid and assessing injuries. Despite their life-saving efforts, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries.
Officials coordinated with multiple agencies, including the Ventura County Fire Department, the coroner’s office, and Caltrans, to secure the scene and manage traffic. Tow services assisted in clearing the vehicle involved.
