Antioch, CA – In the early hours of Saturday, September 20, 2025, a single-vehicle crash on Marsh Creek Road near Sycamore Springs Road left one person dead, according to the CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 6:20 AM near a horse barn along Marsh Creek Road.
Investigators said a vehicle left the roadway and sustained significant damage. Emergency responders arrived quickly and confirmed that the driver suffered fatal injuries. Authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officers coordinated with multiple towing services to remove the damaged vehicle while managing traffic near the crash site. The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene to handle the fatality.
