Sacramento, CA – In the early afternoon of Friday, September 12, 2025, a single-vehicle crash on South Zediker Avenue resulted in one fatality, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the vehicle overturned around 1:39 PM, coming to rest in the roadway. Emergency responders arrived quickly and found the driver trapped inside the overturned vehicle. Medical personnel confirmed that the driver had died at the scene.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office responded to the location shortly after the crash to begin identifying the deceased. CHP officials have not released the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
