Cutler, CA – Shortly after midnight on Monday, September 1, 2025, a fatal single-vehicle crash took place near Avenue 408 and Road 124, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that they first received calls just after 12:30 AM. Responding deputies confirmed the crash location and coordinated with emergency medical services and fire crews, who arrived at the scene minutes later. First responders determined that the driver had sustained fatal injuries in the crash, and no additional vehicles or victims were involved.
Authorities secured the site overnight to allow investigators to examine the wreckage. Prime Tow was contacted for an evidence tow and transported the vehicle to a secured yard for further review.
Officials have not released the name of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the crash remains under investigation as law enforcement works to determine what factors led to the vehicle leaving the roadway.
