Fatal Rollover in Lancaster at 30th Street West, West Avenue N3

Lancaster, CA – On the early morning of Wednesday, July 16, 2025, a single-vehicle rollover crash resulted in a fatality, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 2:12 AM near the intersection of 30th Street West and West Avenue N3. 

Responding units located a vehicle that had overturned and come to rest on the freeway. Fire department personnel were dispatched to the scene shortly afterward.

Authorities confirmed that one person died in the crash. The body remained inside the vehicle pending the arrival of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. Law enforcement requested a full road closure on Avenue N between 30th Street West and surrounding intersections, as well as on 30th Street West between Avenues N8 and M8, to facilitate the investigation and recovery operations.

Emergency responders remained on site for several hours, coordinating with the fire department, coroner, and tow services. The coroner was notified around 3:13 AM, and the body was not removed until after proper documentation and inspection. Traffic control measures were implemented until after 6:30 AM, when the scene was cleared and normal flow resumed.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released. The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
