Sacramento, CA – In the early morning hours of Monday, June 16, 2025, a solo vehicle crash on the westbound Interstate 80 on-ramp from Enterprise Boulevard resulted in one fatality, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the collision occurred around 3:34 AM when a gray Toyota Tundra struck a crash cushion near the center divide. The vehicle was later found behind a concrete barrier.
Emergency responders from Yolo Fire Department arrived shortly after, and Sacramento Fire personnel pronounced the driver dead at the scene at approximately 4:09 AM.
Authorities confirmed the crash involved no other vehicles. Construction crews working nearby helped guide responders to the scene, which was accessible via local lanes from Highway 50 westbound.
The identity of the deceased will be released pending notification of the next of kin. The crash remains under investigation.
