Fatal Rollover near IHOP at Hwy 101, East Main St in Santa Maria

Santa Maria, CA – On the night of Saturday, June 14, 2025, one person was killed in a rollover crash on the northbound U.S. Highway 101 off-ramp at East Main Street, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident occurred around 9:10 PM, when a vehicle reportedly exited northbound Highway 101 at the East Main Street off-ramp at high speed and rolled over, coming to rest in the parking lot of an IHOP restaurant.

Emergency responders remained on scene for several hours to investigate and collect evidence. The off-ramp was reopened shortly after midnight.

While details about the victim and the circumstances of the crash remain limited, CHP confirmed that at least one fatality occurred. No further identifying information has been released pending next of kin notification.

The investigation is ongoing.
