Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Rd-140 in Visalia

Visalia, CA – In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 14, 2025, a three-vehicle collision left at least one person dead, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the crash was reported on Road 140 around 2:20 AM. 

Responding officers confirmed that both lanes of Road 140 were blocked upon arrival. Emergency crews, including firefighters, worked to extricate an unresponsive occupant who had become trapped inside one of the vehicles.

By 6:43 AM, CHP officials confirmed that the crash had resulted in a fatality. The incident prompted a prolonged investigation and cleanup effort, with evidence technicians also notified to assist. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, including whether speed, impairment, or road conditions played a role.. Anyone with information about the crash is urged to contact CHP in Tulare County.
