Ridgecrest, CA – On the evening of Thursday, June 12, 2025, a two-vehicle collision resulted in fatal injuries to a motorcyclist, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 8:47 PM at the intersection of North Jacks Ranch Road and West Ridgecrest Boulevard.
Emergency responders were dispatched after receiving reports of a motorcycle rider lying in the roadway following a crash involving a red four-door sedan. Fire and medical personnel were called to the scene, and the Kern County Fire Department responded shortly after the initial report.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin. No additional injuries were reported.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office arrived at the location later in the evening to begin their investigation.
Authorities have not released information regarding the cause of the crash or whether any charges are pending.
The accident remains under active investigation.
