Fatal Crash at US-101 Paul Ave Off-Ramp in San Francisco

San Francisco, CA – On the morning of Saturday, June 7, 2025, a single-vehicle collision resulted in a fatality on the southbound U.S. Highway 101 off-ramp at Paul Avenue, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred around 11:49 AM at the Paul Avenue off-ramp from US-101 South. First responders arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported.

Authorities confirmed that one person died in the collision, though the victim’s identity has not been released pending family notification. The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been disclosed, and it remains unclear whether other vehicles were involved or if impairment was a factor.

Following the crash, the Paul Avenue off-ramp and nearby intersections were closed for several hours as law enforcement conducted their investigation and cleared the scene. The roadway was reopened shortly after 3:00 PM.
