Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Todd Rd in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County

Santa Rosa, CA On the evening of Thursday, June 5, 2025, a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in Sonoma County left one person dead, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident happened on Todd Road at approximately 6:40 PM.

All lanes of Todd Road in the area of the 2500 block were blocked as first responders worked to assess the scene and provide aid. At least one individual, believed to be the motorcycle rider, was pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending family notification.

Due to the severity of the collision and the need for an extended investigation, a SigAlert was issued around 7:04 PM. The scene remained active for over two hours, with CHP coordinating traffic control and recovery operations. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no further details regarding the driver of the vehicle involved have been made public. CHP has not stated whether speed, impairment, or any other contributing factors are suspected at this time.
