Fatal Motorcycle Crash near Stanford University Arboretum on Palm Dr

Stanford, CA – On the early morning of Saturday, May 31, 2025, a vehicle-versus-bicycle collision resulted in a fatality, according to the CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 2:57 AM at the intersection of Palm Drive and Arboretum Road.

Authorities stated that the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle under circumstances that are still under investigation. Emergency medical personnel transported the injured cyclist to Stanford Hospital prior to CHP’s arrival at the scene. Despite medical efforts, the cyclist was later pronounced deceased.

The involved vehicle, identified as a Honda Accord, was later towed from the scene. No signs of impairment or hazardous road conditions were immediately reported, and no additional injuries were noted.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office once next of kin have been notified. CHP continues to investigate the factors contributing to the collision.
