Kern County, CA – On the evening of Saturday, February 22, 2025, a collision occurred on the State Route 58 Business at the Exit 165 on-ramp resulting in a loss of life, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) states that the accident was first reported at approximately 5:28 PM.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found a male victim trapped beneath a black vehicle. Fire department personnel attempted to provide aid, but the individual was unresponsive. The southbound lanes were temporarily blocked as officials worked at the scene.
At approximately 6:02 PM, the Kern County Coroner’s Office was notified and dispatched to the location. CHP later requested a tow for a Porsche involved in the incident.
Authorities have not released details regarding the circumstances of the crash or the identity of the deceased.
