Kerman, CA – Morning fog on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, contributed to a two-vehicle collision in Fresno County, according to KFSN.
The accident occurred shortly after 8 AM at the intersection of McKinley and Madera Avenues, located just north of Kerman.
Officials report that the driver of an SUV was traveling west on McKinley Avenue when they attempted a left turn onto Madera Avenue. With limited visibility due to dense fog, the SUV collided with a truck traveling southbound on Madera.
Emergency responders transported the truck driver to a local hospital. Officials have confirmed that the driver is expected to recover.
Personal Injury Claims
Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s Comparative Liability rule, several parties can share partial responsibility. A personal injury attorney can play a crucial role in helping victims establish legal responsibility after a traffic accident.
If it is found that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a personal injury claim with the responsible party’s insurance. This can provide compensation to help cover damages such as hospital bills and lost income during recovery.
