Arden-Arcade, CA — Two people were seriously injured in a head-on crash on Monday afternoon, November 4, 2024, near the 4300 block of El Camino Avenue, close to El Camino High School Center for the Arts, according to ABC10.
The Sacramento Metro Fire District reported that the crash occurred around 4:30 PM and involved two SUVs.
Investigation, a man was driving an SUV westbound on El Camino Avenue at high speed when he struck a raised center median, lost control, and veered into eastbound lanes, colliding with another SUV driven by a woman. Emergency responders found one person outside a vehicle and had to extricate the other from the wreckage.
Both individuals sustained major injuries and were transported to a trauma center for treatment. The California Highway Patrol has since reported that the male driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident for further details.
Personal Injury Claims
When the actions of reckless drivers cause others to be injured, the cost of recovery should not fall on their victims. Filing a Personal Injury claim with the at-fault party’s insurance can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.
However, insurance companies often try to deny or minimize claims. That’s why having a knowledgeable personal injury attorney on your side is crucial to securing proper compensation for your injuries.

California DUI Law
Section 23153(a) of the California Vehicle Code (CVC) states that it is illegal for any driver to “Operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and, as a result, cause bodily injury to someone else.”
