Sacramento County, CA — A woman died Monday evening, October 7, 2024, after being struck by a passing pickup truck in South Sacramento, according to The Sacramento Bee.
The accident occurred around 7 PM in the 7100 block of Franklin Boulevard near Green Tree Drive in the Parkway neighborhood, an unincorporated part of Sacramento County.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers reported that the woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was hit by the driver of a Ford F-150 while she was walking near the roadway.
