Bakersfield, CA – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified Heriberto Reyes Jimenez, 23, as the victim of a fatal collision on North Wheeler Ridge Road near Millux Road on September 15, 2024, according to KBAK.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash took place around 4:13 PM. Jimenez was driving along North Wheeler Ridge Road, a rural area often used by agricultural and freight traffic, when his vehicle collided with another. Despite the best efforts of emergency responders, Jimenez was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s report later confirmed that he died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
