Lebec, CA — According to KBAK, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of Robin Scott Stears, a 63-year-old man from Frazier Park, who lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on the morning of August 30, 2024.
Stears was driving near the Lebec Transfer Station south of Bakersfield when his vehicle suddenly crashed into a concrete wall at the facility around 9:00 AM. When first responders arrived, they found Stears unresponsive inside the vehicle. Despite their swift response, Stears was pronounced dead at the scene.
