Arden-Arcade, CA – According to KCRA, on Sunday, August 4, 2024, a head-on collision between a Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) bus and another vehicle resulted in the hospitalization of two passengers.
The accident occurred on Northrop Avenue in the Arden-Arcade area when an oncoming vehicle collided head-on with the bus. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District confirmed that at least one individual was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The preliminary investigation by SacRT revealed that the bus sustained moderate damage in the crash. While the injured bus passengers did not exhibit visible injuries, they were assessed for any potential harm. Fortunately, the two occupants of the car involved in the collision were unharmed.
