Sacramento County, CA – One person was injured in a collision at Camellia Memorial Lawn cemetery on Jackson Road, on Tuesday morning, July 16, 2024, according to KCRA.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene after receiving notification of the collision at approximately 7:48 AM. According to logs from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), one vehicle crashed through the cemetery gates. Live electrical wires were strewn across the roadway, adding to the hazards faced by first responders and complicating the rescue efforts.
Preliminary reports from CHP indicated that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident. One individual was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
