Clovis, CA – 81-year-old James Vaughn of Fresno lost his life following an incident where an alleged medical episode led to a collision involving multiple vehicles on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 27, 2024, according to KSEE.
The Clovis Police Department reports that, around 2 PM, Vaughn was traveling eastbound on Herndon Avenue near the intersection with Willow Avenue when he experienced a medical episode, veered across the center median and collided head-on with two other vehicles.
The Clovis Police Department confirmed that Vaughn lost his life at the scene. Only one driver required medical attention and was transported to a nearby hospital due to complaints of chest pain.
