Bakersfield, CA – According to KBAK, in the early hours of Tuesday, March 26, 2024, a 28-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man found themselves hospitalized with major injuries following a solo-vehicle crash in northwest Bakersfield.
The incident, as reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), occurred at approximately 1 AM along eastbound 7th Standard Road, near the Golden State Highway.
According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle lost control for reasons yet to be determined, leading to the fatal crash in which the vehicle veered off course and collided with a raised curb, causing it to overturn,
Both occupants of the vehicle suffered severe injuries and were transported to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment. The nature and extent of their injuries have not been disclosed at this time.
