Bakersfield, CA – According to KGET, on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 13, 2024, a two-vehicle collision involving a Bakersfield Police Department vehicle hospitalized three, including the police officer.
On Brundage Lane at Liggett Street, around 4 PM, a Hyundai sedan attempting a left turn toward Highway 58 struck a Bakersfield Police Department vehicle traveling eastbound. Both the driver and passenger of the Hyundai, as well as the Bakersfield Police Officer received transportation to a nearby hospital for treatment.
