Templeton, CA – According to KEYT, in the early hours of Monday, March 11, 2024, in Templeton, a solo-vehicle crash on Creston Road killed one and injured two others, while the driver fled the scene.
The California Highway Patrol reports that around 12:29 AM, the driver of a 2008 BMW 328i lost control of the vehicle while speeding eastbound on Creston Road. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned multiple times, ejecting its passengers in the process. One died and two received major injuries in the crash.
A 20-year-old Paso Robles man, believed to be the escaped driver, has since been arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter as well as felony hit-and-run.
