One Driver Arrested, Another Hospitalized After Confrontation on Walerga Rd, N Loop Blvd in Sacramento County

Sacramento County, CA – On the evening of Wednesday, March 6, three drivers were involved in escalating collisions that left one in the hospital and another behind bars, according to ABC10.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the events began around 6 PM near North Loop Boulevard on northbound Walerga Road when the first car was rear-ended by the second.

The first driver got the second to pull over, and a third driver stopped to also get involved in the confrontation. Investigators have not released any relationship between the first and third driver.

As the second driver drove away, they struck the third with their vehicle and continued north along Walerga before losing control of their vehicle, striking the center divide and leaving the roadway, coming to a stop near PFE Road in a ditch.

Authorities arrested the second driver on assault charges, and the third driver was given transportation to the hospital for treatment.

Personal Injury Claims

When the actions of reckless drivers lead to injuries for others, the cost of caring for those injuries should not fall upon their victims. Filing a claim with the insurance provider of the at-fault driver can offer compensation to help cover medical bills and time taken off of work to recover from injuries.

However, insurance companies always have it in their interests to deny or minimize all claims they receive, which is why the help of a knowledgeable personal injury attorney can make all the difference.
