Monterey County, CA – On the morning of Friday, March 1, 2024, 54-year-old Marina man David John Mendoza II was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver, according to KSBW.
Mendoza was riding his scooter westbound on Blanco Road west of Cooper Road when the unknown driver crashed into him. Emergency responders provided Mendoza transportation to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
