Fresno, CA – According to the Fresno Bee, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at McKinley and Hayes Avenues, a three-vehicle collision occurred involving a Central Unified school bus.

Around 3 PM, the school bus, which was carrying high school students, was traveling down McKinley toward Hayes when a white vehicle that was either attempting to turn or running the stop sign failed to yield and entered the school bus’s path.

The school bus crashed into the side of the white vehicle. Another black vehicle got caught in the collision as well. No students were injured. Emergency responders transported the driver of the white vehicle to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Personal Injury Claims

After a vehicular accident, in addition to emotional distress, victims and their families can be overwhelmed with the sudden financial burdens of medical bills, loss of income due to recovery time, and, in unfortunate circumstances, burial fees.

The responsibility for these costs should fall upon the driver responsible for such injuries and their insurance provider. However, insurance companies will try to minimize the compensation for any claim they cannot deny, which is why having the help of a skilled personal injury attorney can prove crucial in ensuring justice for victims of vehicular accidents.
