Wrongful Death Claims
If investigators determine that a victim like Martinez crashed as a result of another person’s reckless driving, the victim’s family may be able to file a wrongful death claim with the insurance provider of the at-fault driver. A wrongful death claim can provide compensation to help cover medical bills, burial costs, and the loss of income to support any dependents of the deceased.
However, insurance providers will dispute and attempt to minimize any claim they cannot deny. That is why grieving families can find the help of a knowledgeable personal injury attorney so crucial in securing justice for victims.
