TULARE COUNTY, CA – KFSN reports that a serious 2-car collision in Tulare County on the night of Thursday, January 18, 2024, resulted in multiple individuals being rushed to the hospital.
The incident unfolded just before 6 pm at the intersection of Avenue 368 and Road 80. According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound Ford Mustang on Road 80 lost control, veering into the path of a Chevy Silverado.
The Ford Mustang driver and two passengers sustained major injuries. All three were promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
The driver of the Chevy Silverado also suffered injuries and was hospitalized. The exact nature and extent of their injuries are currently undisclosed.
Law enforcement is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision, and as of now, the cause of the crash remains unknown.
Once law enforcement gathers sufficient evidence to establish the cause of this collision, victims will be able to file a claim with the insurance provider of the at-fault driver. The compensation from such a claim can help relieve the burden of hospital fees and loss of income due to time taken away from work for recovery.
Victims should be aware, however, that insurance companies always have it in their interest to reduce the compensation for any claim they cannot successfully deny. That is why the help of a skilled personal injury attorney can make such a difference in making certain that victims receive their full due.
