Wrong-Way Driver Leads to Serious Collision at Manor Street and Denise Avenue

Bakersfield, CA — According to Bakersfield Now, the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a crash involving a wrong-way driver at the intersection of Manor Street and Denise Avenue at 6:11 AM on Sunday, January 7th, 2024.

Three vehicles were involved, with two occupants sustaining major injuries. The injured were promptly taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that the driver of a red coupe was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Manor Street.
