BUELLTON, CA — Santa Barbara County Fire officials responded to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on the afternoon of Friday, January 5, 2024, according to KSBY.
One individual sustained moderate injuries and had to be airlifted to the hospital via helicopter as a result of the collision. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined and is still under investigation.
The incident unfolded at approximately 1:15 p.m. on the 1000 block of Highway 246 near Skytt Road. As of 2:30 p.m., Highway 246 has been reopened, but the area remained plagued by heavy traffic, causing delays for commuters.
