A man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident that took place at a Hanford intersection. Your Central Valley reported that the collision took place at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Hanford Armona Road around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, October 18.
According to Hanford Police Department officials, a man was walking through the intersection when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained on scene.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was identified only as an adult male who sustained significant injuries in the accident. He was rushed to Kaweah Delta Hospital for medical treatment but is still in serious condition.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a short period of time after the accident.
