The Google phone, Nexus One, has endless speculation surrounding the release, features, and a slew of other related topics, but there have been rumors that on January 5th at an event related to phone software called Android that is already on the market, Google will reveal the Nexus One. Many have anticipated the release or any public announcement about the Nexus One, so January 5th may bring answers to many questions surrounding the mysterious Google phone, Nexus One.
The iPhone, which will compete with Google’s Nexus One, is arguably the best phone on the market, in terms of applications and features. From the Internet to games, the iPhone has had the market on phones that are simply considered “cool” and “must-haves.”
However, the Nexus One has been said to have capabilities that will compete or surpass the iPhone and if this is the case then the next few years could bring a phone war between Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Nexus One that should benefit consumers with a selection of quality products.
The January 5th Android event could also bring to light an application for the Nexus One called Google Goggles, that allows a user to take a photo of a location and instantly run a Google search for more information.
Google’s Nexus One will have to complete with the iPhone’s vast selection of applications, or apps, that allow users to do everything from download music, get instant news feeds, play games, dictate letters, and much, much more.
These apps make the iPhone such a draw and will be difficult to topple, but if any company has the means, technology, and manpower to compete it definitely is Google.
